45-year-old Venus Williams, who is notoriously private, is reportedly getting married to longtime boyfriend and Italian actor Andrea Preti in September. The wedding is set to take place on Italy’s pristine Amalfi Coast.

Williams was spotted wearing an engagement ring in February 2025 but has never announced or confirmed her engagement.
A bachelorette party is believed to have recently occurred over a week long period on a yacht in the Meditteranean. Serena Williams was in attendance along with other friends and family members.
Preti has tennis ties as he was involved in a relationship with 2015 US Open women’s singles champion Flavia Pennetta who is now married to recently retired Italian tennis player Fabio Fognini.
A Busy Time For Venus Williams
The wedding news comes on the heels of recent breaking news that Williams accepted a wildcard to play at the Mubadala Citi Open in Washington, DC later this month. Williams has not played a professional tennis match since the 2024 Miami Open.
Williams is also slated to play the Charlotte tennis exhibition in December with Madison Keys, Taylor Fritz, and Frances Tiafoe. Last year, Keys played the exhibition as a newlywed, and it appears that Williams will continue that trend.
Venus Williams has proven to be as talented off-the-court as on court. She was part of the star-studded coverage of the 2025 French Open in its inaugural year on TNT.

Venus’s younger sister, Serena Williams, recently posted a gym photo, and she is in great physical shape. Fans still hunger for Serena to return to tennis though she has made no indications that is her plan. The busy mom of two will certainly be by her sister’s side for her upcoming nuptials.
