After being listed on Monday’s entry list for the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ upcoming event at Dover Motor Speedway, driver Kris Wright on Tuesday was replaced by Kaz Grala, Our Motorsports announced.
The Dover, Delaware-based organization sacked Wright after posting one top-10 and four DNFs in 18 outings. Ranked No. 29 in the drivers’ standings, Wright trailed pace-setter Justin Allgaier by 509 points. Allgaier (+155) received the top sports-betting odds to capture the circuit championship, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Wright earned a +50000 listing.
Grala is slated to qualify and compete on Saturday, but no other driver has been announced beyond “The Monster Mile.” The No. 5 Chevrolet team dipped to No. 36 in the owner standings and could face disqualification if qualifying times are too slow.
In his first season with Our Motorsports, Wright replaced Anthony Alfredo, who recorded seven top 10s in 2024.
