Georgia & Texas Have Highest Average SEC Football Ticket Prices In 2025
Two of the teams that were top-5 seeds in the 2024 College Football Playoff have the highest average ticket prices for 2025.
Georgia leads the way this season, with an average get-in price for a single home game ticket sitting at $277.38. The Bulldogs have the most expensive ticket prices in the SEC for the second straight year with the average get-in price rising by nearly 77% year-over-year. Georgia has five straight games on the schedule with get-in costs of over $200, and no home games priced under $75.
Texas is not far behind with their average price of $273.86. Two of the Longhorns’ contests are priced higher than $585 this year, as they will be one of the marquee attractions in the nation with Arch Manning under center.

The most expensive SEC game in 2025 will be the longstanding rivalry between Georgia and Alabama on September 27th. The game is a home contest for the Bulldogs, and the current get-in price is sitting at over $725. That figure is more than $100 higher than last year’s most expensive SEC game, which stood at $615.
The second-priciest ticket technically isn’t a home game for either team. On October 11th, the Red River Rivalry between Texas and Oklahoma will be played at the Cotton Bowl in Arlington, and features a get-in cost of $682. That is a 74% increase over the price for the same game last year, which was $390.

The lowest average ticket price in the SEC belongs to Mississippi State, and it is not particularly close. The figure for the Bulldogs sits at $46 this season, $30 cheaper than the next lowest. It puts them at the bottom of the list for the second straight season, despite seeing an overall average increase of over 155%. Last year, Mississippi State’s home games averaged a price of just $18.
The two cheapest individual games on the entire SEC schedule will be Bulldogs home games played at Davis Wade Stadium. During back-to-back weekends in September, tickets for games against Northern Illinois and Alcorn State will run for a combined $21. Last season, Vanderbilt’s home schedule featured a game with a get-in price of $2.

South Carolina saw the biggest year-over-year increase in ticket prices at +191%, followed by Missouri (+156%) and Mississippi State (+154%). All in all, five teams saw their average ticket prices at least double in 2025, including Texas (+106%) and Auburn (+105%).
