The final eight countries are in action from September 16-21 in the 2025 Billie Jean King Cup Finals. They are: China, Great Britain, Italy (the defending champion), Japan, Kazakhstan, Spain, Ukraine, and USA.

The quarterfinal matchups and schedule are as follows: Italy vs. China, beginning on September 16; Spain vs. Ukraine on September 17; Kazakhstan and USA on September 18; and Japan vs. Great Britain on September 18.

Semifinals will be played on September 19 and 20 with the finals occurring on September 21.

Who is on USA’s Billie Jean King Cup Team?

The USA women have not won the Billie Jean King Cup since 2017, but they post an impressive roster led by WTA singles World No. 7 Jessica Pegula and WTA doubles World No. 1 Taylor Townsend. Also on the team captained by International Tennis Hall of Famer Lindsay Davensport are Emma Navarro, Mccartney Kessler, and Hailey Baptiste. All of the players are adept at singles and doubles so Davenport will be able to plug them as appropriate.

Notably absent from the USA team are 2025 Grand Slam champions and finalist, Madison Keys, Coco Gauff, and Amanda Anisimova.

Who is on Kazakhstan’s Billie Jean King Cup Team?

Kazahstan is led by 2022 Wimbledon champion and WTA singles World No. 10 Elena Rybakina.  In addition to Rybakina, the team includes Yulia Putintseva, Zarina Diyas, Zhibek Kulambayeva, and World No. 13 doubles player Anna Danilinia.

Should the USA women win the quarterfinal match, the team advances to the semifinals and faces the winner of Japan vs. Great Britain.
