Malik Nabers gets carted off.

New York Giants star receiver Malik Nabers suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 4’s win against the Chargers. Without its top pass-catcher, the Giants will have to look for production elsewhere. Here are five potential replacements for Nabers.

Odell Beckham Jr.

Sometimes, you have to go back to move forward. Odell Beckham Jr. is currently a free agent and wants to play in the NFL again.

The soon-to-be 33-year-old had his best seasons with the Giants. Drafted in the 2014 first round, Beckham quickly became one of the NFL’s best wide receivers. Beckham registered at least 91 catches, 1,300 yards, and 10 touchdowns in his first three seasons with the Giants.

After missing most of the 2017 season with an ACL injury, Beckham returned in 2018 and finished with 77 receptions for 1,052 yards and six touchdowns.

In March 2019, the Giants traded Beckham to the Cleveland Browns for multiple players and picks.

Besides his Super Bowl-winning season with the Rams in 2021, Beckham has been a shell of himself since 2020. Injuries have derailed most of his seasons the past eight years.

Beckham is nowhere near the explosive talent he once was coming out of LSU. However, the Giants need another receiver, and if Beckham can play like he did with the Rams, that would be a major victory for the Giants.

Jakobi Meyers

Jakobi Meyers is more of a pipe dream, but if the Las Vegas Raiders continue to lose games, it would be in their best interest to stockpile players who don’t fit into their future plans.

Meyers previously requested a trade before the season started. After his contract demands were not met, Meyers elected to play for the Raiders in 2025.

Meyers leads the Raiders in receptions (21) and yards (258) and has zero touchdowns.

The soon-to-be 29-year-old does not have the playmaking ability of Nabers. However, Meyers is an excellent possession receiver who could be a vital security blanket for rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart.

To acquire Meyers, the Giants would need to trade a Day 3 pick. How the next month goes will determine if the Giants will make a move for Meyers before the Nov. 4 deadline.

Lil’Jordan Humphrey

Beckham and Meyers seem to be far-fetched options, while Lil’Jordan Humphrey could be the move that happens.

Humphrey played with the Giants this past preseason, hauling in six receptions for 94 yards and one touchdown in three games.

Humphrey is currently on the team’s practice squad. Bumping the 6’4″ pass-catcher to the 53-man roster seems inevitable.
