There was so much hoopla related to Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers facing his former Green Bay Packers team for the first time on Sunday Night Football.
That hoopla extended to the postgame when fans wondered if the Rodgers and his protege Jordan Love would exchange jerseys.
Some fans jokingly wondered if Love would want the Rodgers jersey because the Steelers 1933 throwbacks were widely viewed as an eyesore during the game.

Others thought that Rodgers would not publicly make the trade on the field and would avoid the mob who would photograph the two.
If the postgame on-the-field audio is any indication, we think Love got the Rodgers Steelers jersey after the fact reportedly autographed with a Sharpie.
Love is heard saying he needs that, and Rodgers said he would “send it over.”

Aaron Rodgers Has Always Been Respectful To Packers
Rodgers did not burn the bridge when he left Green Bay.
He will retire as a Packer and eventually enter the Pro Football Hall of Fame as a member of the Green Bay Packers so it would be foolish for him to do so.
Rodgers has commended the team and fanbase often in the past three years since he left.
He talked about an unusual event during the game when the “Go Pack Go” chants were so loud that he had to use a silent count for the home team offense.
Aaron Rodgers said he was forced to use a silent count in Pittsburgh tonight because the Packer fans were so loud. IN THE STEEL CITY! 🫡 pic.twitter.com/J5pJjzrIul

There is mutual respect evidenced by the pleasantries exchanged on the field at Acrisure Stadium before the game with Packers staff members and Coach Matt LaFleur.
