The situation between Brown and the Eagles is murky.
The Eagles are 5-2 and poised to go on a deep postseason run. However, Brown has seemingly expressed frustration after every game, whether a win or a loss.
After the Eagles’ Week 4 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brown posted this quote on X: “If you’re not welcomed, not listened to, quietly withdraw. Don’t make a scene. Shrug your shoulders and be on your way.”
Last week, Brown posted this quote: “Using me but not using me.”
The cryptic social posts have fueled speculation about Brown’s unhappiness and his desire to be traded. Again, none of this has been confirmed by the Eagles or Browns.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that the Eagles are not expected to move Brown at the trade deadline. That does not mean the team will revisit a trade in the offseason.
PFT’s Mike Florio believes the Eagles are “eager” to receive phone calls from other teams asking for Brown’s availability.
Brown’s numbers are down this season: 29 receptions for 395 yards and three touchdowns. Brown’s streak of three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons with the Eagles is in danger of ending.
Something is clearly off with Brown. The Eagles will not trade Brown for pennies on the dollar, but if a team calls with a great offer, general manager Howie Roseman would have to listen.

If the Eagles do trade Brown, what teams would be interested?
The New England Patriots (+200) are the favorites to land Brown at the deadline. Patriots coach Mike Vrabel drafted Brown in Tennessee, so he knows firsthand the wide receiver’s talent.
Stefon Diggs is currently Drake Maye’s No. 1 wide receiver. Brown could come in and be the clear top option on the outside for Maye.
Most of the teams on the list are from the AFC, including the Buffalo Bills (+300), Indianapolis Colts (+400), and Baltimore Ravens (+600).
All three teams are lacking a true No. 1 receiver. The AFC trio would also be willing to spend a high draft pick to get a talented player like Brown to help propel them to the Super Bowl.
