At 5-4, the Kansas City Chiefs remain the sports-betting favorite to win Super Bowl LX. Despite the slow start, it’s not hard to recognize why BetOnline Sportsbook continues to favor the two-time defending NFL champions.
On offense, quarterback Patrick Mahomes is healthy, orchestrating the No. 7-ranked attack.
On defense, defensive linemen Chris Jones and George Karlaftis provide a stout front to the No. 6 overall-ranked defense.
But something appears off. In their last showdown outing, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen threw three touchdown passes during a 28-21 win over the Chiefs in Orchard Park, N.Y., on Nov. 2.
Is the slow start a mirage?
The Chiefs (+600), who fell to third place in the AFC West, remain the top sports-betting pick to win Super Bowl LX on Feb. 8, 2026, according to BetOnline Sportsbook.
Barring injury, Mahomes should continue creating a Hall of Fame resume at 30 years old, but the work of Jones and Karlaftis likely will fuel a possible run at a third consecutive championship. Since agreeing to a four-year, $93 million extension last season, Karlaftis responded by collecting 32 combined tackles and five sacks in his first nine starts.
With a proven offense and defense, the Chiefs look poised for another second-half run coming off a bye week. They travel to the first-place Denver Broncos (8-2) on Sunday.
The Los Angeles Rams (+650) drew the second-best odds, followed by the Philadelphia Eagles (+750), who lost to the Chiefs in Super Bowl 59.
