Jannik Sinner is running a buzzsaw through his opposition at the 2025 ATP Finals. His perfect record makes him the first player into the semifinals.
Sinner, along with Lorenzo Musetti, is enjoying the hometown crowd and has been the best player in the tournament so far.

Presumably his main competition is Carlos Alcaraz, but he dropped a set and had some momentary struggles with Taylor Fritz.
Sinner and Alcaraz continue to differentiate themselves from the rest of the ATP field. Barring injury, they are the “Terrific Two” of this generation.
What Is It With Sinner And Hardcourts?
Sinner shines the most on hardcourts. His game which has been good on all surfaces really dominates there.
JANNIK SINNER.
The way he moves is insane.
The way he hits the ball is insane.
The way he’s never off balance is INSANE.

If Jannik Sinner wins Indian Wells next year, he will have won every major hardcourt event by age 24…
No one has ever done it before age 30 🤯

He has won every major hardcourt event except for Indian Wells which has to be on his 2026 wish list. It would put him in his own class as the only player to win every major hardcourt title at the age of 24. Prior to Sinner, no one had accomplished that until the age of 30.
Sinner’s Peers Continue To Complain, And It’s Getting Old
It seems as though those who can’t beat him, continue to complain about his suspension.
My 2026 wish list includes an end to this discussion. How his peers feel about the length of his suspension has no bearing on the game.
Reforming tennis should be their higher priority if they really have issue with this.
Sinner is a divisive figure because of the suspension and because he is virtually unbeatable on hardcourts (and other surfaces) when his game is clicking on all cylinders. Watch him defend his ATP Finals title through November 16 on the Tennis Channel.
