Will the Detroit Lions have their best wide receiver for Thursday Night Football?
The Lions have listed Amon-Ra St. Brown as questionable for Thursday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.
St. Brown suffered a low ankle sprain in the Thanksgiving Day loss to the Green Bay Packers.
If St. Brown can’t go, Jameson Williams moves into the No. 1 receiver role, with rookie wideout Isaac TeSlaa stepping into a bigger role. The Lions will also be without wide receiver Kalif Raymond and tight end Sam LaPorta, with the latter on injured reserve with a back injury.
Needless to say, the Lions need St. Brown to suit up on Thursday. St. Brown is the clear-cut top receiving option for Jared Goff, leading the team in receptions (75), yards (884), and touchdowns (9).
Thursday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys is a de facto elimination game. Both the Lions (7-5) and Cowboys (6-5-1) find themselves outside of the NFC’s top seven playoff teams.
The Lions or Cowboys cannot afford to lose another game, especially if they want to keep pace with the teams above them in the standings.
Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video.
Justin Herbert Injury Update
Jim Harbaugh on if #Chargers are preparing for Justin Herbert to start Monday night vs. Eagles: "We're optimistic that that's going to be the case."

The Los Angeles Chargers are hopeful that their star quarterback will be available in Week 14 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Coach Jim Harbaugh shared a positive update about quarterback Justin Herbert, who underwent surgery on his fractured left hand earlier this week.
“We’re optimistic that that’s going to be the case,” Harbaugh said when asked if the Chargers are preparing for Herbert to start (via The Athletic).
Herbert injured his hand in the Chargers’ 31-14 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Herbert temporarily left the game before returning to the field and playing through it.
Herbert is not expected to practice all week. However, he will be on the field with the team during their sessions.
Backup quarterback Trey Lance will take all of the first-team reps. If Herbert can’t play on Monday, then Lance will get the start.
Time is on the Chargers’ side, as Herbert gets an extra day to recover before Monday night’s contest against the Eagles.
Looking at the AFC playoff picture, the Chargers are in a wild-card spot as the No. 5 seed. At 8-4, the Chargers can still catch the Denver Broncos, who sit in first place in the AFC West at 10-2.
The Chargers host the Eagles (8-4) on Monday, Dec. 8.
