As we approach mid-December, the Milwaukee Bucks are at a crossroads. The team is 10-15 through their first 25 games. That is 10th in the Eastern Conference.

On top of the injury, Antetokounmpo is reportedly frustrated with the organization. NBA insiders have reported that Giannis is considering leaving the Bucks. Recently, it was announced that Giannis Antetokounmpo purchased a home in Brooklyn, New York, for $14.1 million. Now, fans are starting to speculate about his future with Milwaukee.

NBA fans are starting to believe that Giannis Antetokounmpo is heading to New York to play for the Knicks. On Thursday, TradedNY revealed that the 31-year-old purchased a home in Brooklyn, New York, for $14.1 million. The property is located on 111 Clarkson Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Gardens, Brooklyn. While Knicks fans have started to celebrate, one NBA analyst is not as convinced.
Kris Pursiainen said this is an “investment property” for Giannis Antetokounmpo. Additionally, he noted Milwaukee’s PF purchased the home on November 18, 2025. The news was kept under wraps for nearly a month. Over his professional career, Giannis has made over $330 million. If he were to move to New York, chances are he would buy a more expensive house for his family to live in.

New York Knicks fans are convinced that Giannis Antetokounmpo is going to join their team. Over the summer, Milwaukee and New York were involved in trade talks to send Antetokounmpo to the Knicks. Additionally, insiders reported that New York was the only team Antetokounmpo wanted to be traded to. Since then, several teams are expected to join the sweepstakes for Antetokounmpo.
It’s worth noting that Antetokounmpo purchased a home in Brooklyn, New York. An interesting choice among all the places to live in New York. This property is within 20 minutes of the Barclays Center and Brooklyn’s practice facility. Could the Nets be in the running for Giannis? Unless they build a contender quickly, that will not happen. Antetokounmpo wants to win another championship before his career is over. Knowing that, Brooklyn could be out of the running. Where will the Greek Freak continue his career?
