Thunder Injury Report: OKC Has Several Frontcourt Players Out Monday vs. the Grizzlies

In 2025-26, the Thunder are 25-3. That is the top record in the Western Conference. Oklahoma City is 8-2 in its last 10. Additionally, they are 1-2 in their last three games.

The Thunder are coming off a 112-107 loss to the Timberwolves on Friday. Oklahoma City is at home on Monday, December 22, vs. the Memphis Grizzlies. On Sunday, the team gave an injury report. Isaiah Hartenstein, Jaylin Williams, and Ousmane Dieng are out for OKC. Additionally, Chet Homlmgren is listed as questionable due to back spasms. Who steps up for the Thunder in their front court?

Oklahoma City has limited depth in the front court for Monday night

When the Thunder face the Grizzlies on Monday, the team will be at a disadvantage in the front court. OKC has several players dealing with injuries. Isaiah Hartenstein is out due to a soleus injury for the Thunder. He’s missed seven of the team’s last nine games. Additionally, the Thunder are without backup big man Jaylin Williams on Monday. The one-time NBA champion is dealing with heel bursitis.

Ousmane Dieng is dealing with a calf strain for OKC. The 22-year-old is in his fourth season with the Thunder. He’s appeared in 17 of their 28 games. That is three key front-court players the Thunder are without Monday vs. Memphis. Additionally, starting PF Chet Homlgren is questionable due to back spasms. If Holmgren is not available, OKC will have serious holes to fill on Monday.

Kenrich Williams or Branden Carlson could be inserted into the starting lineup. Williams is in his eighth professional season and sixth with the Thunder. He’s appeared in 399 games and made 78 starts. Over his career, Williams has averaged 19.8 minutes per game for OKC. He is more than capable of filling in while players miss time due to injury.

Branden Carlson is in second season with the Thunder. He was undrafted out of Utah in 2024. However, Carlson quickly signed a two-way contract with OKC. He split time between the G League and the NBA last season. In 2025-26, Carlson has appeared in 18 of the team’s 28 games. Aaron Wiggins and Alex Caruso are questionable to play on Monday. If they’re available, that would be a massive boost for OKC.
