Miami Heat Coach Erik Spoelstra Son Has Bucks Star Giannis Antetokounmpo On 2026 Vision Board

Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra’s son is going viral on social media for having Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo on his 2026 vision board.

Heat Eyeing Giannis Antetokounmpo Trade

Spoelstra’s son has Antetokounmpo on his dream board because not only is he a big Heat fan, but the two-time NBA MVP has also been linked to the Eastern Conference contender.

Despite multiple reports, Giannis has yet to ask for a trade.

In December, Antetokounmpo addressed the trade rumors and ESPN’s Shams Charania’s report that he and his agent Alex Saratsis have held discussions with the team about his future.

“If my agent is talking to the Bucks about it, he is his own person,” Antetokounmpo said, per The Athletic’s Eric Nehm. “He can have any conversation he wants about it. At the end of the day, I don’t work for my agent; my agent works for me.

“And there’s going to be conversations that are going to be made between him and the Bucks, and him and his other players, and him and other teams and other GMs, executives around the league. It’s something that you can’t control. But at the end of the day, I personally have not had the conversation with the Bucks.”

Miami Can Offer Draft Picks, Role Players

Acquiring a superstar like Giannis would cost Miami a fortune.

Per Spotrac, Antetokounmpo remains under contract through 2027-28, but he can become a free agent in the 2027 offseason if he declines his $62.8 million player option.

Since Giannis is earning $54 million this season, the Heat would have to offer the Bucks at least one of Tyler Herro, Bam Adebayo, Terry Rozier, Andrew Wiggins, or Norman Powell in a deal for salary-matching purposes.

Rozier is not an appealing trade candidate due to his underwhelming play and gambling investigation, but Miami could send Herro, Adebayo, and future first-round picks to Milwaukee for Antetokounmpo.

Last month, NBA insider Zach Lowe noted during his YouTube podcast that Miami’s offer would also have to involve at least one promising young player.

“The Heat can trade two first round picks as of now because of the pick they owe Charlotte. That’s all they can trade. They can trade some swaps,” he said.

“The negotiations begin and end with Kel’el Ware. If Ware is not in the deal, then we’re just not talking. Because Tyler Herro, Andrew Wiggins, that’s cool. Those guys are fine. They’re not keeping me relevant.”

Young star Kel’el Ware is the main trade asset that Milwaukee would want in return.

Antetokounmpo Remains Committed To Bucks

Even then, Antetokounmpo has already made it clear that he’s still committed to the Bucks.

“I’m still locked in, locked in on my teammates. … [I’m] locked in on my teammates and how can I help them from the sideline or encourage them to be able to play and play free? Because at the end of the day, it takes a toll on them, too, right?”

Through 20 appearances this season, Antetokounmpo has averaged 28.9 points, 10.1 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 28.7 minutes per game while shooting a career-best 63.9% from the field and 64.1% from the foul line.

According to ESPN’s Bobby Marks, starting on Oct. 1, 2026, the Bucks star will be eligible for a four-year, $275 million maximum extension through the 2030-31 season.

If moved, he’d be able to sign the same deal with another team six months after a trade.

The 2026 NBA trade deadline is Feb. 5.
