Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic lead All-Star Starters voting

The NBA announced its starters for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game to be played Feb. 15 at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. Unsurprisingly, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo led voting for the East while Luka Doncic finished atop voting in the West.

In the East, Antetokounmpo will be accompanied by Cade Cunningham, Tyrese Maxey, Jalen Brunson and Jaylen Brown. Doncic will be joined in the West by Nikola Jokic, Victor Wembanyama, Stephen Curry and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

This is Antetokounmpo’s 10th All-Star selection and he finished second overall in votes behind Doncic. Antetokounmpo led the league in voting the last two seasons. Doncic will be making his sixth All-Star appearance and is leading the league in All-Star votes for the first time in his career. He missed last year’s game due to injury.

Looking ahead to this event, there will be a new format featuring a three-team round robin. There will be two USA teams and one Team World featuring international players. Each team will have at least eight players. There must be a minimum of 16 Americans and eight international players. The reserves will be announced at a later date.

Here’s everything you need to know about the 10 starters selected:

Eastern Conference All-Star Starters

Giannis Antetokounmpo – Milwaukee Bucks

2025-26 stats: 28.8 PTS, 9.5 REB, 5.5 AST, 0.9 STL, 0.8 BLK

The Greek superstar has had more off-court distractions accompany him more than ever before due to trade speculation. Despite missing 14 games, he is the standard bearer of the Eastern Conference and is doing everything he can to prop up an underwhelming supporting cast in Milwaukee.

Jalen Brunson – New York Knicks

2025-26 stats: 28.2 PTS, 3.2 REB, 6.1 AST, 0.7 STL

New York may be slumping with eight defeats in its last 10 games but Brunson’s recent absence with ankle sprain has impacted that. He is having yet another tremendous season in a Knicks uniform and is set to make his third All-Star appearance.

Cade Cunningham – Detroit Pistons

2025-26 stats: 25.9 PTS, 6.0 REB, 9.6 REB, 1.5 STL, 0.8 BLK

Cunningham will become the first Piston to start an All-Star Game since Blake Griffin in 2019. While many anticipated the Pistons would continue to build off a promising season a year ago, no one had them as the top team in the East. Their primetime guard is easily the biggest reason why.

Tyrese Maxey – Philadelphia 76ers

2025-26 stats: 30.3 PTS, 4.4 REB, 6.7 AST, 1.9 STL, 1.0 BLK

Maxey has been absolutely spectacular this season, the return of the Sixers vintage 2000s jersey bringing the modern day Allen Iverson vibes to full tilt. We are very much amidst a transition from the Trust The Process era to the Mad Maxey era in Philadelphia.

Jaylen Brown – Boston Celtics

2025-26 stats: 29.7 PTS, 6.4 REB, 4.8 AST, 1.0 STL

Brown saw the idea of a gap year and has completely rejected the notion, playing like an MVP candidate and leading a Celtics team now on course for 50 wins.

Western Conference All-Star Starters

Luka Doncic – Los Angeles Lakers

2025-26 stats: 33.3 PTS, 7.5 REB, 8.6 AST, 1.5 STL

Doncic is leading the league in scoring and doing what he can to carry a Lakers team that has missed its full repertoire of scoring all season. LeBron James was out initially and now Austin Reaves is the one who’s out.

Nikola Jokic – Denver Nuggets

2025-26 stats: 29.6 PTS, 12.2 REB, 11.0 AST, 1.4 STL, 0.8 BLK

He’s averaging nearly a 30-point triple-double. What more is there to say about the best player in the league?

Stephen Curry – Golden State Warriors

2025-26 stats: 27.6 PTS, 3.8 REB, 4.9 AST, 1.1 STL

Curry will make his 12th All-Star appearance and he has added several more “wow moments” from this season to his already staggering highlight reel. He is showing no signs of slowing down other than needing a night off every now and then.

Victor Wembanyama – San Antonio Spurs

2025-26 stats: 24.5 PTS, 10.9 REB, 3.0 AST, 0.8 STL, 2.6 BLK

With the Spurs second in the West, Wembanyama’s impact is undeniable. It speaks volumes he can still have such a dramatic effect on his team’s results, despite coming off the bench in recent times.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – Oklahoma City Thunder

2025-26 stats: 31.8 PTS, 4.4 REB, 6.2 AST, 1.3 STL, 0.8 BLK

The league’s reigning MVP is looking on course to go back-to-back and continues to make scoring look effortless while still playing very good defense.
