Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jake Bobo ran a seam route, cleared a Los Angeles Rams defender and hauled in a 17-yard touchdown pass during the NFC championship game victory last Sunday.
Talk about a rare occurrence. The scoring reception was the third-year professional’s first in nearly a year. Ironically, it also came versus the Rams. Bobo posted just two regular-season receptions. He now has two in the playoffs.
Scoring plays could be few and far between in Super LX.
With the Seahawks slated to take on the New England Patriots at Levi’s Stadium on Feb. 8
Through three playoff games, the Patriots ranked first, yielding 209.7 yards per game. During the regular season, they ranked sixth (285.6 yards per game.
The Seahawks ranked No. 8, allowing 295.2 yards per game.

It’s a familar path for Patriots quarterback Drake Maye. For the first time in Super Bowl history, a quarterback defeated three of a conference’s top five defenses en route the championship encounter.
The Patriots, who beat the host Denver Broncos, 10-7, in a snowy, windy AFC championship game last Sunday, produced just 54 postseason points in their three outings. It marked the fewest points over a three-game stretch of any Super Bowl-qualifying squad.
