CoinPoker is stepping into the spotlight on poker’s biggest stage. High Stakes Poker returns live to PokerGO for seven consecutive days from August 25-31, with CoinPoker serving as the presenting sponsor for the entire week of livestreams from the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas.
CoinPoker Presents a Full Week of Live High Stakes Poker
The seven-day stretch marks the first time PokerGO has run High Stakes Poker live for a full week straight, streaming daily from Las Vegas starting August 25.
PokerGO CEO Brent Hanks said the week is about bringing together the biggest personalities and highest stakes in the game. He said: “High Stakes Poker has always been about bringing together the biggest personalities and highest stakes in the game,” said Brent Hanks, CEO of PokerGO. “Seven straight days of live High Stakes Poker is something we’ve never done before, and we’re excited to have CoinPoker alongside us as presenting sponsor as we deliver what should be an incredible week of action for poker fans.”
CoinPoker will be worked into the broadcast itself and the surrounding promotional content throughout the week, putting the platform’s branding in front of one of poker’s most recognizable audiences.
Andrew Robl, Alejandro Lococo, and Rick Salomon Headline the Lineup
The confirmed lineup so far includes high-stakes cash game regular Andrew Robl, CoinPoker ambassador Alejandro Lococo, and Rick Salomon, with more names expected to be announced before the week begins.
Lococo’s involvement gives CoinPoker a direct presence at the table as well as on the broadcast, tying the sponsorship to actual gameplay rather than just branding around the stream.
Broadcast times and further additions to the field are expected to be confirmed closer to the August 25 start date.
CoinPoker’s Busy Stretch Continues Through Late August
The PokerGO sponsorship lands in the middle of one of CoinPoker’s busiest periods of the year. Battle of Malta Online just wrapped after paying out more than $35 million across 764 tournaments, setting a new concurrent player record for the platform along the way.
CoinPoker’s Daily Dollar tournament launched earlier this month, giving micro-stakes players a $1 buy-in shot at a $1,000 guarantee every day, rising to $5,000 on Sundays.
The Global Online Poker Championship begins August 23, two days before the High Stakes Poker week kicks off, carrying a $50 million guarantee across more than 700 Medal Events.
CoinPoker’s 3-Bet Club membership also launches August 17, adding Rewards Boosts, Action Multipliers, and discounted tournament buy-ins on top of the platform’s standard rewards program.
Between the PokerGO sponsorship, the GOPC launch, and the tail end of Battle of Malta’s record run, CoinPoker is closing out August with its highest-profile stretch of the year.
