Battle of Malta Online has wrapped up, and CoinPoker closed the series by blowing well past its own numbers.
The 23-day festival paid out $35,120,885 across 764 tournaments, topping its original $30 million guarantee by more than $5.1 million, while also setting the stage for CoinPoker’s next major series later this month.

The festival ran from July 12 through August 3, pulling in 528,237 entries across its tournament schedule, not counting satellites. Players combined to see 8,191,330 hands dealt over the run.
CoinPoker also hit a new all-time high during the closing weekend, surpassing 25,000 concurrent players on the platform for the first time.
Hemingway Wins the $565 Main Event for $250,000
Three separate Main Events crowned champions on the final day of the series. Hemingway topped a field of 4,778 entries in the $565 Main Event, taking home $250,000 from the tournament’s $2,546,674 prize pool, the largest of the entire festival.
Hemingway also finished as the series’ top overall cash earner, banking $304,061.90 across the full 23 days.
MarianexBJ won the $55 Main Challenger for $50,000, and Syn claimed the $11 Main Crusader for $10,000. Syn’s win came in the festival’s largest field of any event, an 11,663-entry turnout at that same $11 buy-in.
CoinMillion Battle of Malta Edition Pays Out $121,500
The Battle of Malta edition of the CoinMillion opened the series with a $1 million guaranteed prize pool. monc took down the title for $121,500, with four other finalists collecting five-figure payouts of their own.
The CoinMillion’s August Edition is now underway separately, already into Day 2 with a $120,155 top prize on the line and AgroVadim leading a 35-player field with just under 85 big blinds.
High Roller Winners Across the Battle of Malta Series
CoinPoker’s biggest buy-in events also crowned champions throughout the festival. Giselle54 won the $5,200 High Roller for $68,244, edging out runner-up Lukabrate’s $45,612 payday.
pensefortement took down the $1,500 CoinMasters Bitcoin High Roller for $235,000, adding a gold-plated CoinMasters Bitcoin coin to the win. MystereEtBouleDeGomme claimed The Iron Throne for $129,129, part of a run of High Roller results spanning buy-ins from $1,050 up to $5,200.
100 Live Packages Awarded to Battle of Malta Autumn Edition
CoinPoker handed out 100 live packages tied to the Battle of Malta Autumn Edition, each worth $2,500 and including a €600 Main Event ticket, accommodation, and a travel allowance for the live festival running October 27 through November 4 in Malta.
Twenty-five of those packages came through the three online Main Events, while the remaining 75 were won through the multi-stage Battle of Malta Champion’s Trials promotion.
CoinPoker also awarded 77 trophies across the series, covering Main Event, High Roller, and featured tournament winners. Each recipient got a digital trophy for their CoinPoker Trophy Cabinet, with the option to collect the physical version at the live Trophy Ceremony in Malta or have it shipped home.
Global Online Poker Championship Follows on August 23
CoinPoker isn’t slowing down after Battle of Malta Online. The Global Online Poker Championship launches August 23, carrying a $50 million guaranteed schedule across three regional timezones and buy-ins ranging from $2.20 up to $25,500.
The CoinMillion returns yet again as part of the GOPC on September 6, running with a $215 buy-in and a $1 million guarantee at 15:30 UTC to open the series.
CoinPoker is also rolling out its new 3-Bet Club membership on August 17, just ahead of the GOPC, giving subscribers extra rakeback and discounted buy-ins heading into the next series.
