CoinPoker’s Global Online Poker Championship is only days into its six-week run, and the early results are already stacking up. The GOPC launched August 23 and continues through September 28, and the opening stretch has produced a High Roller champion, a six-figure cash for a two-time WSOP bracelet winner, and live buy-in discounts for 3-Bet Club members.

The Global Online Poker Championship runs as a 37-day festival across three regions, carrying more than 700 Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medal Events on the schedule.
The series’ headline numbers include a $3 million guaranteed Main Event at $530, a $1 million Global Main at $55, and a $250,000 Mini Main at $11. An additional $350,000 runs through Regional Leaderboards, the Podium Race, and Bankroll Boosts.
Jesse Lonis Banks $153,400 in the High Roller Opening Ceremony
Jesse Lonis, playing under DangerousGorilla22, won the $5,200 High Roller Opening Ceremony on August 23, taking home $153,400 and a Gold GOPC medal.
The 83-player field included CoinPoker ambassadors Patrick “Pads” Leonard, Benjamin “Bencb” Rolle, Seth Davies, and cash game professional DavyJones. Eighteen players cashed, including illusory, Birnherd, HevadKhan, and Battle of Malta Online main event runner-up LelouchLamperouge.
Lonis’ CoinPoker account has been active since January 2026, and he’s cashed for more than $250,000 in that span, playing around 40 events since a March software update at a 23% cash rate.

Ryan Riske Adds a Second Early High Roller Win
Ryan Riske, known on the platform as Gambl0r, took down another of the GOPC’s opening High Rollers for just under $58,000. Riske runs PokerWithRiske Coaching and is an official CoinPoker ambassador.
Also in the field was Papo MC, better known as Alejandro Lococo, who takes his seat on PokerGO’s High Stakes Poker starting August 25. Fellow CoinPoker ambassador Yoh Viral joins him at that table, alongside Andrew Robl and Rick Salomon.
The GOPC’s Other Early Winners
The 18 players making the money included illusory, Birnherd, HevadKhan, and Battle of Malta Online main event runner up LelouchLamperouge.

Lonis holds the biggest single score of the series so far, but several other players have already posted strong results.
iloveMyHand won the $530 Opening Ceremony for about $63,600, BlackJes took the $150 CoinMasters BITCOIN for over $52,500, and llililiQUI won the $122 CoinMasters Asia BITCOIN for around $34,000.
Scoobyloo claimed the $25 Mini CoinMasters BITCOIN for around $11,400, and Sinplicity won the $109 Let the Games Begin for about $24,000. Daily champions are viewable inside CoinPoker’s desktop and mobile app.
3-Bet Club Discounts Go Live on Early GOPC Flights
3-Bet Club Tournament Discounts are now active in the CoinPoker lobby, cutting buy-ins on select GOPC events, including the $55 Day 1 flights of the $1 million Global Main.
A flight of the $11 Global Mini Main was discounted by 30% for members, and CoinPoker ambassador Mario Mosböck highlighted the $109 CoinMasters DOGE event dropping to $89 for subscribers.
3-Bet Club runs on $35 monthly or $100 quarterly tiers, bundling a Base Reward, Power Ups, an Action Multiplier, and the Tournament Discounts already showing up across the GOPC schedule.
CoinPoker Confirms Compensation for Opening-Night Technical Issues
GOPC tournaments hit brief connection issues on the night of August 23, prompting CoinPoker to restart all affected events and confirm compensation for players caught up in the disruption.
Players who ran into further issues after their tournament resumed were asked to contact [email protected] from their registered email, so CoinPoker could review hand histories from the point of disruption.
