Jon Rahm is bringing a taste of Spain to Augusta next month as he serves an homage to his home country at The Masters. His Champions Dinner menu looks delicious.

And even Mama Rahm is getting a chance to shine!

Formally known as the ‘Masters Club Dinner,’ all of the past champions gather together on the Tuesday of tournament week to share a meal before the festivities get underway. The most recent winner selects the menu for the current year’s dinner.

It is a tradition that dates back to Ben Hogan in 1952.

Scottie Sheffler’s dinner last year was oddly reminiscent of your local Applebee’s. Hideki Matsuyama went with a more intricate menu in 2022 while tipping his hat to Japan.

Rahm’s menu lands closer to the latter than the former. His selections are mouthwatering!

YUM!!!!!!!!

If you can’t tell, the entire menu consists of Rahm’s favorite foods from Spain. He grew up in Barrica, a town in the province of Biscay, and moved to the United States on a golf scholarship at Arizona State.

One particular item stands out: Mama Rahm’s Classic Lentil Stew

This is pretty cool. To have your mother’s recipe featured at the most prestigious dinners in sports is a really special gesture.

Neither Rahm nor The Masters hinted at the recipe. However, a classic Spanish lentil stew typically consists of: lentils, tomato sauce, paprika, garlic, red and green peppers, onions, carrots, and potatoes.

Everybody has their own variation, so it will be fun to see if Jon Rahm reveals the secret! Hopefully someone will ask him during the media portion of the week.
