2025 ATP Finals Player Groups Announced

The 2025 ATP Finals are days away. Seven of the eight players have qualified with Lorenzo Musetti owning his fate in a similar fashion as Elena Rybakina did for the WTA Finals. If he wins the Athens tournament, he is in. Should he lose, the eighth spot will go to Felix Auger-Aliassime who is not playing this week.

The player groups have been announced, and as expected, there will be interesting Round Robin matches among the players in these groups.

ATP Finals: Jimmy Connors Group

The Jimmy Connors group consists of Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic,  Taylor Fritz, and Alex de Minaur.

It is worth noting that though he has qualified, Djokovic has not yet committed to playing the ATP Finals.

He fact-checked Italian sources that said he would play. Djokovic is currently playing in Athens and will assess his physical condition during and after this tournament to determine if he is match ready.

ATP Finals: Bjorn Borg Group

The Bjorn Borg Group has defending champion Jannik Sinner along with Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton, and either Musetti/FAA.

It is Ben Shelton’s first appearance at the ATP Finals, and it will also be the first appearance for Musetti or Auger-Aliassime.

Other ATP Finals Happenings

As always, there is more than tennis at the year-end event.

The ATP revealed a new logo on Wednesday.

Speaking of logos, we will also see Carlos Alcaraz‘s custom Nike logo for the first time in Turin. .
