But golf fans might also be able to score a major win at Augusta National this weekend. First introduced in 2016, the Masters gnome has become a cultural phenomenon and one of the most popular purchases at Augusta.
In fact, it’s become a must-have collectible for golf fans, who put them on display as a badge of honor and proof that they made the pilgrimage to one of golf’s most sacred grounds.
Each year’s gnome features a unique design, making them highly sought-after and often resold online for several times their original price. With long lines forming early and limited quantities available, scoring a Masters gnome has become a tournament tradition all its own.
How Much Is The 2025 Masters Gnome Selling For?
The Masters gnome retails for $49.50 and is available for sale just eight days per year, making it one of the most sought-after pieces of memorabilia.
The 18-inch Santa lookalike is sporting a shirt with iconic items from the Masters concessions menu, saddle golf shoes, and a hat. The gnome is also carrying a backpack and holding a sandwich.
There is also a smaller, 9-inch gnome dressed in a Masters caddie bib for $29.50.
Sales are limited to just one per customer and Augusta National limits the number of total gnomes sold each day. Typically, the daily supply of gnomes runs out within a few hours of the merchandise store opening, so patrons need to act fast if they don’t want to miss out.

The 2025 Masters gnome is selling for as high as $782.50. That’s more than 15 times the original retail price.
One reseller has even put together a set of Masters gnomes from 2018-2025 for sale with a whopping $16,000 price tag.
While that number might seem outrageous to the casual fan, collectors know just how rare and coveted these items have become. With limited quantities released each year and no option to buy them online, the gnomes have turned into a form of golf memorabilia gold that continues to gain value with every new edition.
