Aaron Rodgers Throws To DK Metcalf In Workout

On Monday, Rodgers had a throwing session with Metcalf at UCLA over the weekend.

Instagram user Amen.Culture captured photos and videos from the workout.

Rodgers continues to familiarize himself with the Steelers as he debates whether to join the team, sign elsewhere, or retire.

Rodgers previously met with Steelers’ brass on March 21.

The four-time MVP spent six hours at the Steelers’ facility, speaking with several coaches, including head coach Mike Tomlin and offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.

Although Rodgers left without signing a contract, there are parameters for a deal in place.

Mike Tomlin Comments On Meeting With Aaron Rodgers

At Monday’s NFL Annual League Meeting, Tomlin spoke about his “productive” meeting with Rodgers.

“We had a really productive day,” Tomlin said of the meeting. “He’s been in this thing a long time. I’ve been in this thing a long time. But there’s no substitute for intimacy and spending time together and getting to know one another in a non-competitive environment. So, that was really good. But I don’t have any new updates in terms of where the process is. We’ll see where it leads us.”

As of March 31, Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson would be the two quarterbacks competing for the starting position.

Despite not having a No. 1 option at quarterback, Tomlin will not rush into making a decision.

“I’m really comfortable with being unsettled at this time of year, to be quite honest with you. It’s about talent acquisition,” Tomlin said. “We’ve got two main means of acquiring talent — free agency and the draft. We multitask. We do both. Those needs that we fulfill in free agency, we do so there, and when we don’t, we fulfill it in the draft. I just learned over the years that this time of the year, although day to day it could be somewhat uncomfortable, it is a process.”
