The PGA Tour heads to Bay Hill Club & Lodge for the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational, one of the most demanding and prestigious events of the season. Known for its thick rough, firm greens, and Florida winds, Bay Hill is a true ball-striker’s test. Precision off the tee and elite approach play are essential, and with a star-studded field set to take on this championship layout, golf fans are in for another thrilling week in Orlando.

This will be the first tournament of the season that features all of the PGA Tour’s top players in action. Scottie Scheffler is the odds-on favorite to win at Bay Hill, followed by Rory McIlroy and rising star Ludvig Åberg. Proven winners Xander Schauffele and Collin Morikawa round out the top five contenders for the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Arnold Palmer Invitational 2025 Round 1 Tee Times 

The Arnold Palmer Invitational will start at 7:40 a.m. ET, with Brian Campbell and Jacob Bridgeman kicking off the signature event. Harris English and Rafael Campos will be the last group to tee off at 1:50 p.m. ET. Since it’s a signature event, there are fewer groups, meaning tee times are only 10 minutes apart. A total of 36 pairs will tee off this weekend. 

Featured Groups

The Arnold Palmer Invitational field is composed of golf’s best players.  Every pair in the field is considered a featured group or a must-watch pair. However, some pairs are extra special as they combine upcoming talent, proven winners, or golf’s hottest hands.

There are some star-studded featured groups at Bay Hill for Round 1. Scheffler and Aberg will be paired together for the first two rounds, putting them among the must-watch groups heading into the weekend. Other featured groups include Hideki Matsuyama and Viktor Hovland, Xander Schauffele and Justin Thomas, and more.

2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational Weather Forecast

The Arnold Palmer Invitational field will experience different weather conditions throughout the weekend at Bay Hill. While no rain is forecasted until Sunday afternoon, there will be different spurts of strong winds throughout the weekend with wind gusts reaching up to 23 mph. 

In addition, the weather gets warmer throughout the rounds. It starts with a high of only 66°F during Round 1, and by the end of Round 4, the high is a predicted 84°F, as the heat turns up in the chase for the red cardigan.
