The AFC still runs through the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs have played in five of the last six Super Bowls, winning three.
However, the Chiefs were completely dominated by the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
Now, Kansas City turns their attention toward the draft, where they have eight picks, including five in the first four rounds.

Offensive Tackle
The Chiefs could not protect quarterback Patrick Mahomes in the Super Bowl. Kansas City allowed six sacks in a 40-22 loss.
The Chiefs signed San Francisco’s Jaylon Moore as their new left tackle. Moore is a career backup, so starting him at the most important position on the offensive line is a risk.
Jawaan Taylor remains a liability at right tackle after committing 17 penalties a season ago.
Expect the Chiefs to draft another lineman as insurance.
Defensive Line
Chris Jones remains one of the three best interior defensive linemen in the NFL.
Outside of Jones, Kansas City’s defensive tackles are average at best and represent the biggest hole on the roster.
The Chiefs must find one to two defensive tackles to play next to Jones to strengthen their line.
Tight End
Future Hall of Famer Travis Kelce can’t play forever.
While Kelce still comes to play in big games, his body cannot perform at an elite level for all 17 games.
If a talented tight end falls to the Chiefs on Day 2, don’t be surprised if Kansas City pulls the trigger.
