In his second consecutive week as the Cleveland Browns starting quarterback, rookie Shedeur Sanders will have another challenge thrown at him.
It is the weather. Friday’s practice could be a mild dress rehearsal for what is expected to hit Cleveland on Sunday when the Browns host the 49ers.
There was rain, snow, and wind on Friday.

In contrast, the 49ers did not have a weather issues at their Friday practice. Everyone wonders how Brock Purdy and company will also manage the conditions.

It is hard to argue which is worse: rain, snow, or sustained winds of 25 to 35 miles per hour with higher wind gusts possible.

A cold slippery football could be tough to handle, and the offensive playcalling will need to adjust accordingly. Defenses could become more aggressive creating turnovers. And kicking could be a real problem.

Brock Purdy is reportedly not planning to wear a glove, and at this point, it is unclear what Sanders will do.
Can Shedeur Sanders rise to the challenge? He has handled everything thrown at him so far with class and grace so why wouldn’t the Cleveland weather throw another hurdle his way.
