Cognizant Classic 2025 Odds, Expert Picks and Best Bets

The Florida Swing officially begins this weekend as the PGA Tour kicks off the Cognizant Classic in Palm Beach Gardens. After an exciting finish in Mexico, the field is geared up to take on the PGA National Resort in Florida.

The Cognizant Classic represents the first event of the Florida Swing and has brought out 15 of the top 50 players on the Official World Golf Rankings, with big hitters like Sungjae Im and Sepp Straka in the field. 

There is no clear favorite this weekend in Florida, as Shane Lowry sits atop the odds board at +2000 odds. The top five round out with Russell Henley (+2200), Daniel Berger (+2200), Sepp Straka (+2500), and Sungjae Im (+2800). If the odds are any indication, the Cognizant Classic could be anyone’s tournament to win this weekend.

Cognizant Classic 2025 Odds

There are a lot of exciting storylines in Palm Beach this weekend as the Cognizant Classic is set to tee off on Thursday morning. 

For the first time since Jack Nicklaus did in 1977 and 1978, Austin Eckroat (+4500) will look to win the Cognizant Classic back-to-back years. He’s going up against many big names including Shane Lowry, Jordan Spieth, Russell Henley, Sepp Straka, Rickie Fowler, and more. 

The field is pretty tight, especially the top 10, where no one has better than 20-1 odds to win the event. Shane Lowry (+2000) is the odds-on favorite, followed by Russell Henley (+2200), Daniel Berger (+2200), Sepp Straka (+2500), and Sungjae Im (+2800). There’s a strong case for each player, with a few coming off early season wins.

Shane Lowry (+2000)

It’s a familiar event for Shane Lowry, who is listed as one of the favorites in the 2025 Cognizant Classic this weekend. He has a lot of history at this event, with three straight top-five fishes at PGA National. He’s been knocking on the door for a win at the Cognziant Classic for a while. He’s in great form right now, especially after the runner-up finish at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Watch out for Lowry this weekend in Palm Beach Gardens. 

Min Woo Lee (+3500)

Min Woo Lee has been playing well lately and has slowly racked up five top-30 finishes in six starts, including four top-17 finishes or better. His game has been steady as he enters the Cognizant Classic, an event that he finished runner-up in last year. Lee’s game has been consistent as he’s ranked inside the top 10 for Strokes Gained: Around-the-green. The Australian is going to come out swinging for the Florida Swing. 

Davis Thompson (+4000)

Davis Thompson is one of the 15 players in the Top 50 in the Official World Golf Ranking with a lot of value listed at +4000. Thompson has made five cuts in his last six starts. He’s fresh off his best season start, finishing T13 at the Genesis Invitational. While he started great, he couldn’t hold on to the lead. His game matches perfectly with PGA National, with a firm feel off the tee and around the green.
