The Cognizant Classic will tee off on Thursday morning as the PGA Tour heads to PGA National in Florida. Despite the smaller purse, the field still brought out some star power, as players like Sepp Straka, Sungjae Im, Shane Lowry, and more are listed to play.
With the PGA Tour back on the East Coast, tee times are scheduled at 6:45 a.m. ET. It’ll be an early start, and the tee times will run until 1:46 p.m. ET. There will be a cut after round 2 on Friday.
While the weather looks promising in Florida throughout the weekend, the field will face some rain at the beginning of the first round.

The first round has some intriguing matchups with some of the best players in the field going head-to-head. One of the groups to catch will include Sepp Straka, the highest-ranked player in the field. He’s paired with Billy Horschel and Cameron Young.
The tournament favorite, Shane Lowry, will be paired with Gary Woodland and Min Woo Lee. Their tee time is slated for the afternoon at 12:40 p.m. E.T.
Cognizant Classic 2025 Round 1 Tee Times
The tee times will begin early, with the PGA Tour back for the Florida Swing. The first tee time is scheduled for 6:45 a.m. ET, with Patrick Rodgers, Rico Hoey, and Mac Meissner set as the first group.
The tee times will run every 11 minutes until the last tee time slot at 1:46 p.m. ET. The last group to tee off in round 1 will include Max McGreevy, Rikuya Hoshino, and Justin Hicks on hole No.10.
