Philadelphia Eagles Fans Serve 'Patrick Mahomes-Themed' Pig At Super Bowl Parade

Some Philadelphia Eagles fans handed out chocolate and strawberries during their Super Bowl LIX championship parade to celebrate Valentine’s Day, while others served a Patrick Mahomes-themed roasted pig to mock the two-time MVP quarterback. The swine has a No. 15 carved into it and a furry wig on its head.

Birds supporters couldn’t help but throw some shade at the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback in the City of Brotherly Love on Friday. At the Eagles’ Super Bowl parade, a video posted on X shows a fan slicing into the roasted pig with a knife as a replay of Super Bowl LIX is being played in the background.

Over 1 million people in Philadelphia attended the Eagles’ Super Bowl LIX victory. Hundreds of die-hard fans camped out overnight to secure a spot to watch the parade.

The parade route starts at the sports complex in South Philly, moves up Broad Street to City Hall, and ends at the Philadelphia Museum of Art on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.

In addition, the parade will be broadcast live on CBS Philadelphia. Fans can watch the parade live via the CBS News app, Pluto TV, or wherever else CBS News Philadelphia can be streamed.

Birds Fans Burnt Kermit The Frog Plush After Super Bowl LIX Win

This is not the first time that Eagles fans have poked fun at Mahomes after Kansas City’s blowout loss. The Chiefs’ star quarterback has a raspy voice that reminds people of Kermit the Frog, who turns 70 on May 9. The Kermit sound stems from the shape of Mahomes’ vocal tract.

“It was something everybody kind of made fun of him about a little bit,’’ said Reno Moore, who coached Mahomes when the quarterback was in the seventh, eighth, and ninth grades.

“That last year when I was around him, you could tell it was almost like he started trying to disguise it. He was trying to talk a little deeper. It was kind of funny,” Moore added.

Following the Chiefs’ 40-22 pulverizing defeat, Birds supporters burnt a Kermit the Frog stuffed animal in the streets. As Kermit was burning, fans were repeatedly heard chanting, “F—k the Chiefs!”
