The PGA Tour officially makes its way across the pond for the 2025 Genesis Scottish Open. The world’s best golfers will tee off at the Renaissance Club in this co-sanctioned PGA Tour and DP World Tour event.
The Scottish Open will feature a strong lineup, with all five of the top players in the Official World Golf Rankings set to compete. The field is headlined by World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, who leads the odds at +400. Rounding out the top five are Rory McIlroy (+800), Tommy Fleetwood (+1800), Ludvig Åberg (+2000), and Collin Morikawa (+2200).

The Genesis Scottish Open officially boasts the second-strongest field on the PGA Tour this year, trailing only the Players Championship and surpassing even the Masters in the strength of the field.

Robert MacIntyre (+2800)
While Robert MacIntyre’s ball-striking stats may not stand out, his strong track record at the Renaissance Club makes a solid case for backing the defending champion. He has four top-18 finishes here, including a win and a runner-up finish in 2023.
MacIntyre has also been in good form recently, with a second-place finish at the U.S. Open and a 17th at the Travelers Championship. His numbers remain steady, and he consistently delivers strong results.
Matt Fitzpatrick (+3300)
After a tough few years on Tour, Matt Fitzpatrick has slipped outside the top 80 in the World Rankings. However, he found his groove with a strong performance at the PGA Championship, finishing T8. Since Quail Hollow, he’s made eight consecutive cuts, including 17th- and 8th-place finishes in his last two starts.
At the Travelers Championship, Fitzpatrick led the field in Strokes Gained: Tee to Green and ranked 8th in approach. There are clear signs his form is trending in the right direction.
