The PGA Tour stops in Texas for a quick two-week swing before heading to the Masters. The field heads to Memorial Park Golf Course for the 2025 Houston Open, scheduled two weeks before the Masters. The Houston Open will feature some of the world’s best players alongside those trying to secure last-minute invitations to Augusta National.
The tee times for the first two rounds will begin at 8:20 a.m. ET and end at 3:42 p.m. ET. Fans can catch live coverage of the Houston Open beginning at 8:15 a.m. ET.
Despite being warm in Texas, the weather won’t be favorable this weekend. The field will face many rough conditions, including high winds and rain.

Houston Open 2025 Featured Groups & Pairings

There are 156 players listed in the field at the 2025 Houston Open, and only four players sit among the top 20. Despite the weaker field, Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler highlight the event. While Scheffler is a regular at the Houston Open, McIlroy will be competing here for the first time since 2014.
One of the must-watch featured groups is Rory McIlroy, Maverick McNealy, and Wyndham Clark, who tee off at 8:53 a.m. ET. Scheffler will tee off in the afternoon at 2:03 p.m. ET, and Rickie Fowler and Sungjae Im will join him.
Houston Open 2025 Round 1 Tee Times
The Houston Open has 52 groups teeing off at Memorial Park this weekend. While Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy are teeing off this weekend, the rest of the field isn’t as strong. There are only four top 20 players playing this weekend.
While it’s an excellent opportunity for players to tune up for the Masters, it’ll also be the final chance to get into the top 50 on the World Golf Rankings for the Masters.
The Houston Open will tee off at 8:20 a.m. ET. The first group will feature Joel Dahmen, Taylor Montgomery, and Sami Valimaki. The tee times are set at 11-minute intervals, and the last group will feature Danny Walker, John Pak, and Taylor Dickson.

The weather forecast does not look promising for the Houston Open this weekend. Not only will the field face unfavorable weather conditions like rain, but Memorial Park will also be very windy.
