The fight between Jake Paul and Gervonta “Tank” Davis will be held in a different venue.

Jake Paul vs. Tank Davis Moves to a Different Location

Paul and Davis were set to square off at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

The fight is still on. However, it’s heading to a new city.

Paul vs. Davis will now take place in Miami’s Kaseya Center on Friday, November 14. The event will stream live globally on Netflix at no additional cost to its members.

“New city, same mission, seek and destroy the tank,” said Jake Paul in a press release. “Kaseya Center. Friday, November 14. I’m bringing the heat, and Miami will see me take down this angry elf while the world watches live on Netflix.”

“Jake Paul has been cherry picking in the sport of boxing for a while now, but he picked the wrong opponent this time,” said Davis in a press release. “He better start losing some weight, chasing some chickens, and pray that helps him some on fight night! Thank you to Netflix for giving me the opportunity to whoop this clown!”

Jake Paul vs. Tank Davis: Tale of the Tape

After four years of callouts, Paul and Davis will finally fight later this year.

Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) is coming off a June victory over Julio César Chávez Jr. via unanimous decision.

Paul’s fight against Davis comes one year after his record-breaking match with Mike Tyson. The fight, which aired on Netflix, garnered 108 million live viewers globally, making it the most-streamed sporting event ever.

Paul vs. Tyson peaked at 65 million concurrent streams, with 38 million coming from the United States.

The fight, which took place inside AT&T Stadium, set the Texas gate record for combat sports with $18,117,072. The previous record was $9 million from the 2021 fight between Canelo Álvarez and Billy Joe Saunders.

Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs) is coming off a controversial majority draw decision over Lamont Roach Jr. in March. The referee did not properly award a knockdown against Davis. Had the knockdown been called, Roach would have won the WBA lightweight title.

Instead of a rematch against Roach, Davis will now fight Paul. The biggest question remaining involves the weight.

Paul fought at 199.4 pounds in his last fight, while Davis weighed 133.8 pounds in his match against Roach.

The exact weight for Paul vs. Davis will be revealed next week.

The first face-to-face press conference between Paul and Davis will be held on Monday, September 22, at the Palladium Theater in New York City. The second will take place inside the Kaseya Center on Tuesday, September 23.
