He called out the Knicks and said the team “can’t get bored with what’s working.”

For parts of Tuesday night’s game, the Knicks looked like a true contender in the East. At other times, the team looked disconnected and was careless with the basketball. That resulted in the Celtics building a lead in the third quarter that the Knicks never erased. Mikal Bridges led the team offensively with 35 points and eight made three-pointers.
It was an off-night for Jalen Brunson. He scored just 15 points for New York and was 1-8 from beyond the arc. Early in the game, the Knicks were eager to prove they were the better team. That drive ended in the second half when Boston started to make a run. New York’s game plan fell apart, and the team fell behind by nearly 20 points.
