Justin Tucker misses a kick.

For the first time in a long time, the Baltimore Ravens have a kicking problem. Justin Tucker is becoming more of a liability than an asset. Are the Ravens considering a change at kicker?

John Harbaugh Sticking With Justin Tucker

Despite Tucker’s struggles, head coach John Harbaugh is backing his veteran kicker.

“The best option right now is to get Justin back on point because he is fully capable of doing it,” Harbaugh said, via Morgan Adsit. “[We] certainly haven’t lost any confidence in Justin Tucker.”

Tucker played a pivotal role in Sunday’s 18-16 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tucker went one for three on field goals, missing from 47 and 50 yards. Tucker’s conversion rate is a career-worst 72.7% through 11 games.

“He’s going to get it figured out,” Harbaugh said. “We have coaches, we have technique. We look at the tape and he’s practicing well. He’s got to kick it straight.”

Tucker is 16 for 22 on field goals this season. Of Tucker’s six misses, five have come in Baltimore’s four losses this season.

Ravens Struggle In Loss To Steelers

Tucker was not the only reason the Ravens (7-4) fell to the Steelers (8-2).

Lamar Jackson’s struggles against the Steelers continued. The MVP candidate completed 16 of 33 passes for 207 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

Jackson moves to 1-4 against the Steelers for his career.

With the loss, the Steelers now hold a commanding two-game lead over the Ravens in the AFC North. These two teams will match up in Baltimore on Dec. 21.

The Ravens travel to SoFi Stadium in Week 12 to take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football.
