It took a blowout against the Green Bay Packers for the Lions to wake up. Now, Detroit is firing on all cylinders.
Since the Week 1 loss, the Lions have scored 52, 38, and 34 points in their last three games. Detroit is now first in scoring (34.3 points per game) and top 10 in passing, rushing, and total yards.
As good as the offense has been, the defensive line has arguably been better. With Aidan Hutchinson back in the lineup, the Lions are second in the league with 14.0 sacks.
If there is one weakness on this team, it’s the cornerbacks. D.J. Reed was placed on IR with a hamstring injury. Terrion Arnold suffered a shoulder injury in Week 3 and was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, things are falling apart in Cincinnati.
Since Joe Burrow went down, this team has cratered. In Browning’s two starts, the Bengals have scored 13 points, including 3 in the 25-point loss to the Denver Broncos on Monday night.
Fantasy owners who have Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins are in shambles, as the duo ranks 25th and 56th in scoring, respectively.
The Lions could have a field day against the Bengals’ offensive line, which has the worst pass-block win rate in the NFL (per ESPN).
However, I do think Browning finds Chase and Higgins a few times to keep this respectable. Therefore, I’ll take the Bengals if it stays over 10.

If you think Browning will have some success in the air, then a lot of the production will likely come from Chase.
When Browning came in relief for Burrow in Week 2, Chase ended with 14 receptions for 165 yards and one touchdown.
While I don’t expect that same output from Chase, I’ll take the flier on him to score against an injured secondary.
