Madison Keys Teases What She Wants For 1st Wedding Anniversary From Husband/Coach Bjorn Fratangelo

No matter what happens the rest of her career, Madison Keys can say that the past 12 months have been among the most exciting and best ones of her life.

On November 23, 2025, Keys will celebrate her first wedding anniversary with husband and coach Bjorn Fratangelo.

The Keys and Fratangelo marriage got off to a successful start on the tennis court when Madison steamrolled through the Australian Open warmup tournament in Adelaide in January.

She followed it up with what I believe was the best WTA tennis moment of the 2025 season, winning her maiden Grand Slam at the Australian Open weeks later by defeating a stellar field of opponents that included Danielle Collins, Elena Rybakina, Elina Svitolina, Iga Swaitek, and Aryna Sabalenka in the final.

Keys was officially eliminated from the 2025 WTA Finals on Monday, and we will have to watch and see if she plays the rubber match against Rybakina on Wednesday because she did not shake hands with her opponent Amanda Anisimova or the chair umpire after the match seemingly indicating that she is dealing with an illness.

We hope that is not the case, but if so, we hope she gets well before her anniversary where she told the media at the WTA Finals that she is expecting a gift from Fratangelo to commemorate the event.

Keys said: “I asked him what he wanted to do for our anniversary. He said, We’re doing that? The positive for me.I told him that I’m definitely doing it. If he doesn’t want to do it, then I won’t buy him anything. But I’m expecting a gift for my one-year anniversary. We’ll see what happens there.”
