NASCAR Cup Series Pennzoil 400 Presented By Jiffy Lube: Christopher Bell Earns Top Odds, Predictions & Best Bets At Las Vegas Motor Speedway

The winner of three consecutive NASCAR Cup Series events, Christopher Bell seeks to become the ninth driver since 1972 to visit Victory Lane four Sundays in a row.
The Joe Gibbs Racing driver won at Atlanta, COTA and Phoenix and entered the week favored to capture Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, according to BetOnline Sportsbook.
Bell (+325) edged Kyle Larson (+350) for the early sports-betting odds.
Five of the eight modern-era drivers to win four races in a row (Cale Yarborough, 1976; Darrell Waltrip, 1981; Dale Earnhardt Sr., 1987; Jeff Gordon, 1998; and Jimmie Johnson, 2007) earned series championships.
Through four starts, Bell, with 152 driver points, trails pace-setter William Byron by 13 points. Byron, a big Atlanta Braves fan who compiled one win and three top-10 finishes, earned 23 more stage points than Bell.
Byron (+800) snapped a 30-race winless streak with a 2023 win at Las Vegas.
Below, we’ll preview the top storylines heading into Sunday’s Pennzoil 400 presented by Jiffy Lube, go over the odds, and give our best bets for the fifth race on the 2025 NASCAR schedule.
Pennzoil 400 Presented By Jiffy Lube Storylines
- Quiet and steady, Chris Buescher navigated Phoenix for his third top-10 finish this season. Outside of one run-in with Ryan Blaney, the No. 17 Ford cruised to an eventful ending. Can he maintain the momentum of last October’s P10 at Las Vegas? In his opening 15 outings at the 1.5-mile track, he registered just one top 10.
- Short track specialist Josh Berry (P4) earned his best placing this season after rebounding from a slow early pit stop. Netting Wood Brothers Racing’s first top-five at Phoenix, Berry had failed to finish inside the top 25 in the series’ opening three events. Berry has two Xfinity Series wins at Las Vegas.
- AJ Allmendinger competed in his 450th Cup race Sunday, placing P22. Without a top-10 this season and just two laps led, the driver of the No. 16 Chevrolet ranks No. 28 in the points standings, 107 behind Byron.
