Team | Average Get-In Price |
Detroit Lions | $254 |
Las Vegas Raiders | $243 |
Philadelphia Eagles | $224 |
San Francisco 49ers | $204 |
Chicago Bears | $176 |
Due to their surge back to relevancy in the league and their status as one of the favorites in the NFC this season, the Detroit Lions have the most expensive ticket average of any NFL team. Three of their home games have price tags of $290+, and the only contest cheaper than $200 is the season finale against the Vikings ($172).
The 6th, 7th, and 8th most expensive games in the NFL this coming season will be hosted by the Lions at Ford Field.
The Raiders have the second-highest average price, as tickets to games in Las Vegas have been expensive ever since Allegiant Stadium opened in 2020. The Eagles and 49ers are the only other two teams to have averages of $200+, and the Bears round out the top-5.
Overall, NFL ticket prices are up 9% year-over-year, rising nearly 2x faster than inflation during that span. Since 2008, NFL ticket prices have risen at a 25% quicker rate than that of inflation, a sign that ticket prices have become significantly more expensive as the league has soared to new heights.

Most Expensive Single Game Tickets
Steelers fans are known for traveling well to away games and representing their team on the road. 2024 will be no different, as the two most expensive games in the entire NFL will be played by Pittsburgh. Their visit to Las Vegas in October has a price tag of $414, making in the priciest game in the league for the coming season.
Russell Wilson will make his return to Denver when the Steelers visit the Mile High City for the Broncos’ home opener. That game currently has a get-in listing of $376.
In consecutive weeks during the month of October, the 49ers will host two of the premiere games of the season. On the 20th, a Super Bowl rematch with the Chiefs will cost fans at least $331 to attend, and a contest against the Cowboys the following week is running at $345.
Not included in much of the data gathering was the slate of international games. The price tags tend to be far higher for the NFL games that are played overseas, which can seriously skew the numbers when it comes to the averages. But we found that the international contests have an average price of over $293 for this season, which is 15% higher than the highest domestic average (Lions).
