NFL Combine 2025: Jordan Burch Measurements, 40 Time, Bench Press, & Draft Prediction

Jordan Burch has an NFL-ready body and frame, having played 5 years at the collegiate level, but may be lacking in some areas that will need improving at the next level. Do his NFL Combine numbers help his cause?
Jordan Burch’s NFL Player Profile
Jordan Burch is one of the older defensive line prospects in the Class of 2025. He spent five years at the collegiate level, playing for both South Carolina and Oregon, and will turn 24 years old during the 2025 NFL season.
But he is still likely to be a late first or early second round pick. His body is certainly NFL ready, standing 6’4” and weighing 280 pounds, and he’s said to have favorable traits like a solid bull rush and an ability to shed blocks. There are issues with not only some of his skill sets, but he has also proved to be inconsistent. He missed four games due to injury in 2024.
Burch’s numbers did improve practically every year in college, and in 2024 he was able to notch 8.5 sacks and had a forced fumble to go along with 6 passes defended. For a player that still has plenty to prove to the scouts, he participated in only a limited number of events at the Combine.
2025 NFL Combine Results
Burch had a limited showing at this year’s Combine. He skipped important events like the bench press and the leaping measurements, but ranked in the top half of all edge rushers in his 40-yard dash time.
40-Yard Dash
Out of 17 edge rushers that participated in the 40-yard dash, Burch finished with the 7th-fastest time. He came in at 4.67 seconds, with James Pearce Jr. having the best mark at 4.47.

10-Yard Split:
The 10-yard split is an important test for pass rushers, as it measures the first ten yards of a 40-yard dash. Burch didn’t perform well in his heat, posting a get-off speed of 1.66 seconds. Of the 18 prospects that participated in the event, he came in 13th place.

Jordan Burch’s NFL Draft Prediction
Before his showing at the NFL Combine, Burch was projected to be a late-first round pick at very best. He’ll have something to prove at Oregon’s pro day coming up in March, when he’ll be participating in the jumping exercises along as well as others. But unless he knocks the socks off of scouts that day, look for him to potentially fall into the middle of the second round.
Prediction: 2nd round, 50th overall pick – Seattle Seahawks
