Arizona State running back Cam Skattebo is one of the top players remaining on the board for Day 3 of the 2025 NFL Draft. Which teams will be interested in the 4th round and beyond?

Which NFL Teams Might Draft Cam Skattebo On Day 3?

New York Giants

Projected Pick: 4th Round, 105th overall

The Giants are returning their top two rushers from last season in Tyrone Tracy Jr and Devin Singletary. The two combined for nearly 1,700 yards from scrimmage in 2024, and will likely occupy the top two spots on the depth chart, barring only injury.

But they could use some depth at the position. The only other running back on the team’s roster gained just 31 rushing yards last season, and could still be looking at adding a body for some training camp competition. They could use a potential bruising back like Skattebo, as Tracy Jr and Singletary ranked 31st and 40th in the NFL in yards after contact.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Projected Pick: 4th Round, 107th overall

The rushing offense for the Jaguars ranked 26th in the NFL in terms of yards in 2024, and they entered the 2025 Draft with a need for a running back. They’ve yet to address the issue through the first three rounds, instead opting for two cornerbacks and an offensive lineman.

Skattebo makes sense for Jacksonville, especially given their fourth round assets. The Jaguars are scheduled to make two of the first five picks on Day 3, which gives them an excellent chance to be the ones to select the Arizona State product. He is the best available running back on most big boards heading into the final rounds, and could be gone early on.

Arizona Cardinals

Projected Pick: 4th Round, 115th overall

The Cardinals currently have a handful of running backs on their roster, but not many that are known to be contributors. James Connor is still the top option after his second straight 1,000 yard season, and will be at the top of the depth chart going into the season.

None of the other players on the roster gained over 300, but they still finished with the 7th ranked ground attack in the NFL. If they want to create some training camp competition for their backup spots, Skattebo would be a solid pick on Day 3.
