NFL Monday Night Football Fans React to Detroit Lions Outdueling Baltimore Ravens At M&T Bank Stadium

The Detroit Lions established a tone – and some history – on Monday Night Football.

Highlighting a 38-30 victory over the host Baltimore Ravens, the Lions became the first team since at least 1996 to generate four running touchdowns, converted two touchdown drives of at least 96 yards, made gutsy fourth-down calls and the defense sacked quarterback Lamar Jackson seven times at M&T Bank Stadium.

Two Super Bowl-or-bust squads met Monday night.

They did not disappoint.

“Getting seven sacks is insane,” St. Brown told ESPN after the game.

“They were incredible,” quarterback Jared Goff said of the Lions’ defense. “We did exactly what we wanted to do.”

Did they show the league something more?
