2025 NFL On CBS Announcer Lineup

No changes at the top as Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson remain the No. 1 booth for the NFL on CBS.

The network is making a significant change to its No. 2 booth. Former NFL player JJ Watt will be the game analyst alongside play-by-play announcer Ian Eagle. Evan Washburn will provide reports from the sidelines.

Watt, who spent the last few NFL seasons as a panelist for The NFL Today, joins the broadcast booth full-time. Watt replaces Charles Davis, who slides back to the No. 4 team alongside Andrew Catalon, Jason McCourty, and AJ Ross.

Davis had been paired with Eagle since leaving Fox for CBS in 2020. Davis will eventually transition to Saturdays as CBS’ top college football analyst. Davis will replace Gary Danielson, who is retiring at the end of the 2025 season.

Tiki Barber, who spent the last season working with Catalon and McCourty, is out at CBS as a game analyst. However, Barber is joining WFAN’s radio coverage of New York Giants football. Barber, who anchors WFAN’s weekday drive-time radio show with Evan Roberts, will be a co-host for Giants pregame and postgame coverage.
