It might be ugly, but a win is a win. That’s the motto for the 2025 Philadelphia Eagles. While the offense continues to struggle, Philly’s defense was dominant in a 16-9 victory over the Detroit Lions.
The Eagles are 8-2 and first in the NFC. Philadelphia has the tiebreaker over the conference’s No. 2 team, the Los Angeles Rams, by way of a 33-26 head-to-head victory earlier this season.
The Chicago Bears continue to pull rabbits out of their hats and win in the game’s final moments. The Bears defeated the Vikings 19-17 on a game-winning field goal. The Bears now sit atop one of the toughest divisions in football, the NFC North.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are fading, but they still have a small lead in the NFC South.
The three wild card teams are the Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, and San Francisco 49ers.
