Miami Dolphins linebacker Jordyn Brooks celerbates.

Ahead of the NFL trade deadline, here are three players the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could go after.

Dolphins Linebacker Jordyn Brooks

The Bucs have an excellent defense. Under Todd Bowles, the Bucs have always had one of the top units in the game.

However, the team has a major hole at linebacker. Tampa needs another backer to play next to Lavonte David.

While the Bucs typically don’t make in-season trades, general manager Jason Licht should change his strategy and make a deal for a player that could help a potential Super Bowl-contending team.

The Miami Dolphins might have a fire sale between now and the deadline. Linebacker Jordyn Brooks could be that linebacker the Bucs plug and play next to David.

Brooks is excellent at stopping the run, as he leads the league with 85 total tackles, including 53 solo.

Brooks has one more year left on his contract.

Titans Guard Kevin Zeitler

Injuries have decimated the Bucs this season.

It’s amazing that quarterback Baker Mayfield has put up MVP-type numbers despite playing behind an injured offensive line.

Right tackle Luke Goedeke has been on injured reserve with a foot injury. Guard Cody Mauch is out for the season.

Tennessee Titans guard Kevin Zeitler is the kind of veteran who can stabilize a battered offensive line. The 35-year-old is still an effective lineman.

Tennessee is a mess, and trading an offensive lineman who protects a rookie quarterback is probably a mistake. However, the Titans are hopeless right now and should start building for the 2026 NFL Draft. That means it’s time to acquire draft picks.

Raiders Wide Receiver Jakobi Meyers

The Bucs offense has cooled off after a hot start. However, the Bucs are 11th in passing yards (224.9 per game) and 14th in scoring (24.6 points per game).

The Bucs’ receivers are the walking wounded. Mike Evans is out for at least eight weeks with a broken collarbone. Chris Godwin has missed several games with a fibula injury. Emeka Egbuka has been one of the best rookies in the NFL, but a lingering hamstring could cost him time.

The Bucs trading for Las Vegas wide receiver Jakobi Meyers is probably a pipe dream. There’s no guarantee that the Raiders will trade Meyers. Plus, the Raiders’ asking price might be too high.

Meyers would be the perfect fit in the Bucs offense. Meyers has 29 receptions for 329 yards. If Meyers somehow found himself on the Bucs’ roster, their offense should return to the top 10 of the major statistical categories.
