Free Agency is underway in the NFL but everyone is again talking about Aaron Rodgers.

The biggest question remaining is the decision Rodgers will make.

Will he retire or keep playing? If he decides to keep playing, what team? The Steelers, Giants, and Vikings are all reportedly interested in Rodgers.

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette’s Gerry Dulac posted on X “Apparently, the delay in the Aaron Rodgers discussion with the Steelers is not about money. The offer has been made. It’s about Rodgers taking his good ol’ time about making a decision.”

Only Two To Four People Know What Is Going On With Aaron Rodgers

Everyone is speculating about what Aaron Rodgers will decide. CBS Sports’ Aditi Kinkhabwala said on 93.7 The Fan Pittsburgh that only two to four people know what is going on with Rodgers.

She also stated the people who do know are being very tight-lipped about it as Rodgers would know who the leak was if it got out.

Kinkhabwala also thinks Rodgers does not like people writing about him. She states this because Rodgers has gone after some sports media members for stories he did not like.

For a man who does not like people talking or writing about him in the media, he sure gives people a reason to.

Whether it is being tight-lipped and enjoying the chatter about him or going on the McAfee show to discuss his beliefs, for a man who does not like being talked or written about, he sure cannot stay out of the spotlight.

Rodgers Is Holding The Steelers Hostage

The Pittsburgh Steelers need a QB and are interested in Aaron Rodgers.

They also need to fix other positions like the defensive line and missed out on some free-agent pickups while waiting on Rodgers to make a decision. If you didn’t know, the world revolves around Rodgers and we are all just living in it.

Pittsburgh was reportedly interested in bringing back defensive tackle Javon Hargrave but he signed with the Minnesota Vikings.

This will force the Steelers to draft a defensive lineman in round one of the NFL Draft.

Pittsburgh acquired WR DK Metcalf in hopes of enticing a QB and boosting their WR group, which was one of the worst in the league last year.

They also signed CB Darius Slay to a one-year deal to help boost the secondary.

Still, nothing matters until the Steelers figure out the QB position and Rodgers is making them look desperate and foolish.

The Jets are willing to eat $49 million in dead cap money to get rid of Rodgers. The Steelers are hoping he comes to Pittsburgh. They did the same thing last year with Russell Wilson but Wilson did not cost much. Rodgers will.

Pittsburgh is in shambles at the QB spot even if Rodgers does join. They need to find a long-term solution at the QB position and stop trying with one-year solutions.

The 2026 NFL Draft is in Pittsburgh and the QB draft class will be better than this year’s. Pittsburgh needs to draft a QB in round one in next year’s draft. The hope is he turns out to be the franchise QB they desperately need.

Until then, we are all just waiting for Your Highness Aaron Rodgers to make a decision.
