On Sunday, it’s an NFC postseason rematch.
When these two teams played in last season’s Divisional Round, the Eagles squeaked out a 28-22 victory during a blizzard.
Had it not been for a crucial Jalen Carter sack on third down on the Rams’ final drive of the game, Los Angeles might have taken the lead and advanced to the NFC Championship.
After a slow start in Week 1’s win over the Houston Texans, the Rams looked like an NFC contender in their 33-19 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 2.
Stafford threw for 298 yards and two touchdowns. Davante Adams and Puka Nacua looked like an unstoppable duo, combining for 14 catches, 197 yards, 1 receiving touchdown, and 1 rushing touchdown.
If the Rams play like that, they will be hard to beat in January.
Meanwhile, the Eagles remain the team to beat after a 20-17 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in a Super Bowl rematch. They won in a game where Hurts only threw for 101 yards and Saquon Barkley rushed for less than 90 yards.
The biggest takeaway from last week is that everyone hates the “tush push.”
All jokes aside, the Eagles are finding ways to win ugly, which is the sign of a true champion.
While Hurts might not have the stats, he wins big games, especially at home. Hurts is 27-3 SU as a home favorite.
The Eagles’ offense is struggling, while the Rams’ offense is gaining steam. This game will come down to the trenches. Can the Rams’ defensive line stop the Eagles’ rushing attack?
Philly is not blowing teams out just yet. The Rams should keep this close and have a chance for the backdoor cover. If this line stays at 3.5, I’ll take the Rams and the points.

Kyren Williams is the definitive starting running back for the Rams.
Williams led all running backs in snap count (888) last season.
Head coach Sean McVay is making a point of emphasis to reduce Williams’ snap counts this year. McVay recently said that he would like a 65/35 split between Williams and Blake Corum.
In Week 2, Corum rushed for 44 yards on 5 carries. I’ll take McVay’s word and take Corum’s rushing over.
