In Week 5, the Rams were a touchdown favorite over an injury-depleted 49ers team. Not only did the Rams fail to cover, but they lost by a field goal in overtime.
It was a bad loss for the Rams’ team, which many believe can reach the NFC Championship.
Even in a loss, Matthew Stafford threw for 389 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions. If the Rams had won last Thursday’s game, Stafford might have been the MVP favorite.
The Rams are going to be OK as long as Stafford stays healthy.
The Ravens are the bigger story heading into this game after their putrid performance in Week 5. The Houston Texans went to Baltimore and destroyed the Ravens 44-10.
Lamar Jackson sat out with a hamstring injury. His replacement, Cooper Rush, threw for 179 yards and three interceptions.
The offense stalled without Jackson under center. However, Baltimore’s defense is the bigger issue. Baltimore ranks near the bottom of nearly every defensive statistical category — 31st in total defense (408.8), 31st in passing defense (262.4), 29th in rushing defense (146.4), and 32nd in scoring defense (35.4).
Safety Kyle Hamilton (groin), linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring), and cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf) did not play against the Texans. Their statuses for Week 6 are unknown.
The Ravens have an interesting dilemma. Baltimore has a bye in Week 7. After the bye, their schedule becomes much easier, with games against the Bears, Dolphins, Vikings, Browns, Jets, and Bengals.
Baltimore might elect to punt on this game against the Rams to give their top guys an extra week of rest. That is what I believe will happen, so I’ll side with the Rams. Make sure to check the injury report before the game because if Jackson plays, that changes everything.

Rams vs. Ravens Prop
Davante Adams has fit in seamlessly in this Rams offense.
Puka Nacua is on a historic tear, which has taken away the spotlight from Adams. The former Packer has 22 receptions on 46 targets for 357 yards and three touchdowns.
Adams has only gone over 60 yards in two of his last five games. However, this matchup is extremely favorable, especially if the Ravens rest key players like Hamilton and Humphrey.
