Quarterback Lamar Jackson, arguably the most important player on the Baltimore Ravens, found himself on the injury report this week. Will Jackson suit up for the Ravens against the Cleveland Browns in Week 11?

Jackson’s season has been interrupted by several injuries. The latest is knee soreness, which kept him out of practice on Wednesday.
However, Jackson played through the knee issues and returned to practice on Thursday and Friday.
Coach John Harbaugh is confident enough in his quarterback to declare him a “full go for Sunday.”
The knee injury is a new one for Jackson. The two-time MVP missed three games earlier this season with a hamstring injury.
When he’s played, Jackson has looked like one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Jackson has thrown for 1,249 yards with 15 touchdowns and one interception in six games this season. The dual-threat quarterback has added 216 rushing yards and one touchdown on the ground.
During Jackson’s absence, the Ravens went 1-2, losing to the Houston Texans and Los Angeles Rams while beating the Chicago Bears. Cooper Rush and Tyler Huntley filled in for Jackson at quarterback.

When Jackson injured his hamstring in Week 4, the Ravens were 1-3. Baltimore then lost the next two games to put them at 1-5.
Things look bleak in Baltimore. However, many pointed out that Baltimore’s schedule opened up in the second half with easier opponents and division rivals. Essentially, the Ravens could pick up ground on teams like the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals.
So far, that plan has come to fruition. The Ravens have won their last three games, putting them at 4-5, second in the AFC North behind the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Despite having a record under .500, the Ravens control their own destiny in the AFC North because of their matchups against the Steelers and the Bengals.
Ravens’ remaining schedule:
- at Cleveland Browns
- vs. New York Jets
- vs. Cincinnati Bengals
- vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
- at Cincinnati Bengals
- vs. New England Patriots
- at Green Bay Packers
- at Pittsburgh Steelers
That Week 18 matchup against the Steelers could be a winner-take-all game for the AFC North.
For Baltimore to run the table, they will need their defense to improve. The Ravens rank 25th in scoring defense (26.1 points per game), 26th in total defense (372.7 yards per game), and 27th in pass defense (249.4 yards per game).
The bright side for the defense is that, when healthy, Jackson and the offense can outscore any team in the NFL.
