Lawrence Shankland Dropped From Scotland Team

It appears that Scotland have had their team to face Morocco leaked.

According to a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), Lawrence Shankland has been dropped from the starting XI in a shocking reveal.

Full Leaked Scotland World Cup Team For Morocco Game

GK: Angus Gunn

RB: Aaron Hickey

CB: Grant Hanley

CB: Jack Hendry

LB: Andy Robertson

CM: Scott McTominay

CM: Lewis Ferguson

AM: Ryan Christie

RM: Ben Gannon-Doak

LM: John McGinn

ST: Che Adams

The 30-year-old played 83 minutes for Scotland against Haiti before he was replaced by Kenny McLean.

He didn’t have his best game, only registering two shots, with one being blocked and the other going way off target.

And the leakers on X suggest that there will be a complete formation change from Steve Clark. An interesting decision.

They say that Shankland has been replaced by Ryan Christie, who came on at just the 75th minute vs Haiti.

The Haiti game wasn’t Scotland’s finest hour, but the main thing is that they got a crucial three points in a very tough group.

John McGinn scored the only goal of the game and continued his fine club form onto the world’s biggest stage.

Any kind of result against Morocco would pretty much guarantee Scotland’s place in the knockout rounds but it’s certain to be a tough game.

Morocco have been one of the best teams in the world over the last 18 months and gave Brazil a good game last week.

They are massively in need of three points and Clarke’s Tartan Army look up against it.
