Serena Williams And Roger Federer Among Tennis Players Highlighted In Super Bowl-Related Events

Tennis players Serena Williams, Roger Federer, and Aryna Sabalenka were involved in Super Bowl-related events on February 9, 2025. Serena Williams is no stranger to Super Bowl activities, having starred in commercials airing during the game in recent years. Still, she took center stage differently Sunday night.

Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show got mixed reviews depending on who you talked to. However, everyone loved Serena Williams’s appearance as a dancer. Doing the crip dance to a song that seemingly took shots at her former boyfriend Drake, Serena looked cool and confident doing her thing. Sister Venus shared her pride and happiness on social media.

Roger Federer Gets Schooled By Elmo
Roger Federer appeared in a sweet Super Bowl ad for the ON brand with Sesame Street’s Elmo. While Roger explained the nuances of tennis, Elmo asked why his shoe had a Q and C. Roger attempted to explain that it really was an O and N for ON, but Elmo was skeptical.

Aryna Sabalenka Spotted In NIKE Ad
For those of us (including me) who think NIKE does not step it up enough for its elite tennis stars, NIKE somewhat quelled the argument by showing three-time Grand Slam champion and World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka in a montage of female athletes in its Super Bowl ad. NIKE supporting its female athletes is never a bad idea, but it would be great if Sabalenka got more individual attention given her position in women’s tennis right now.
