Stefanos Tsitsipas Rumored To Start With New Coach After French Open

Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas is rumored to be getting a new tennis coach after the 2025 French Open. These reports are circulating on the internet but have not been substantiated by Tsitsipas or anyone in his camp.
He is currently in the 2025 Monte-Carlo Masters quarterfinals and attempting to win his fourth ATP 1000 title there.
Tsitsipas endured a painful break from his father Apostolos in 2024. Since then, Greek Davis Cup coach Dimitris Chatzinikolaou has served as his coach.
Stefanos Tsitsipas won the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Championships last month. He is experimenting with a new racquet that has improved his confidence. All signs are that his game is where it needs to be, making the coaching change an interesting rumor.
Who Is Rumored To Be Stefanos Tsitsipas’s New Coach?
Grand Slam champion Goran Ivanisevic is the new coach rumored to be coming on board this summer. Ivanisevic recently worked briefly with Elena Rybakina.

Ivanisevic’s single Grand Slam win was at the 2001 Wimbledon Championships over Patrick Rafter. Grass has been Tsitsipas’s least successful Grand Slam tournament. He has never gotten past the fourth round. Is Ivanisevic coming on board on a trial basis to focus on the grass court season?
Until we hear from anyone involved, it is impossible to know if this is true. If it is, many believe it would be beneficial to Stefanos Tsitsipas. In addition to coaching Rybakina, Ivanisevic also coached Novak Djokovic for years and was by his side for multiple Grand Slam victories.
Ivanisevic has proven himself to be an excellent player and coach.
In the meantime, Tsitsipas is focused on his upcoming quarterfinal match on Friday, April 11, at the Monte-Carlo Masters against Lorenzo Musetti.
